Study: 5 Percent Of Key West Exposed To Dengue

Five percent of Key West residents may have been exposed to the virus that causes dengue fever, health officials said Tuesday. The potentially serious, mosquito-borne illness had once disappeared from the United States. Last year in August, three dengue cases surfaced in Key West. They were the first locally acquired cases reported in the state in 40 years.
